Default BMW 750IL

How do you take a 90K car and rust it out in 11 years? :? All I can say is I wish I had some money to just throw out to what would be a fun project car. Theres a 96' BMW 750IL with the upgrade 5.6L V12 in the local paper for............... 3 grand.

256K runs well, very rusty, and needs "TLC". How cool would it be to tear apart a V12 for fun?

Well first it will cost you $3K to buy it and then another $20 K to rebuild that engine. :?

...but it would be fun.

I take it you don't wanna hear about the dual MAFs that cost $499.99 each and you have to replace both if one goes bad.

....Whoops guess I already told ya. Listen to me, don't buy it, I learned my lesson.

Also i want to add that parts for that engine are ungodly expensive, and you will **** yourself if you found out how much a head gasket repair kit is for that engine. Don't do it, most parts are 2-3 times more expensive than american car parts.

If it were a 95, I'd get it and swap an LSx motor and a 6 speed in it.

come on guys...you're missing the point!

reality is.....it'd be a right royal(and expensive!) pain in the butt to try it.

fantasy is.....it'd still be fun!!!!!

Like I said IF I had the money. What i'm actually looking for is a LT-1 Caprice or Roadmaster for like $500 just to tear apart and experiment on.
