I am looking for a motherboard to run a Athlon XP 2100, with PC2100 DDR RAM. You guys have any suggestions?

Whatever price, as long as it runs dependably, and has future expansion possibilities, unlike my ECS K7S5A. Would like AGP 4x/8x, can handle a faster cpu, memory, and FSB, ATA133/100/66.

I've been looking at some Gigabytes as well. How about one of these, GA-7S748-L or GA-7VA

out of the 2 I'd go for the GA-7VA, but I like the FIC - KT-748 mainly because I like the fic mobo'* always have but thats just personal preference there

well from what I read and understud the GA-7VA is more of the mobo you want but in the end its up to you and as for why I like fic well I like there quality an there a "cheep" but good mobo, wheres the rest of the geek group to help out at this time of need :?:

From what I see the two Gig'* are fairly similar, except the 7VA only has 333FSB, whereas the other will do 400 FSB>
