I FINALLY UPGRADED!!!!!!!!!
I finally bought a new PC today at circut city....$350 after rebates, and this is a great lil machine. I think it could use another stick of ram, and a good sound blaster and Nvidia cards to really open'er up.....Here'* all my stats:
Features
Compaq Presario Desktop PC (SR1500NX)
The basics: AMD Sempron™ 3000+ processor (2.0GHz), 256MB of DDR SDRAM and speedy 80GB 7200RPM hard drive.
CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive: Use the combo drive for recording music, digital photos and personal files. You can even watch your favorite DVD movies.
Get connected: Tons of ports—including seven USB 2.0 and two FireWire—let you add all of your favorite peripherals.
9-in-1 media reader: Transferring files, video, images and MP3s to your computer is easier than ever. This versatile reader accepts Compact Flash I/II, SmartMedia, Memory Stick®/PRO™, MultiMediaCard, SD™, xD™ and MicroDrive memory cards.
Software bundle: The extensive package includes Windows® XP Home Edition, plus software for photo editing, money management, music burning, gaming and more.

Nice PC though.
It sounds like you got a pretty good deal, however, I don't know much about computer stuff.

glad to see you got it. You should be happy there. The video and sound card shouldn't be too pricey, nor the ram. just watch for sales if you are not in a hurry. From what you told me you were looking for, I would start with either the ram or sound card since those are the limiting factors.

Ya....it'* alright....but not a good thing when it likes to randomly restart itself and not come back up right away......But I think it'* graphic related...so I may have to get a better card sooner than I thought.
