entertainment center, going into 2008
couldnt find one from last year though i swear i took one. thats weird. but anyway, going into 2008, this is our entertaiment center. the tv got too big for our prior entertainment center so we just decided to use the china cabinet.

ignore all the cables, i didnt want to drill any holes in the entertainment center. took off the doors on the top to facilitate using the shelving, but beyond that . . . movies are stored in the bottom of the cabinet, unless were watching them. movies were watching now go on top of the dvd/vhs.

philips 47" 1080p LCD, model no. 47PFL5432D/37.
we bought it from walmart for about $1500, researched it for about a month and a half prior to purchasing it. apparently reviews were good (nancy did the research, i didnt), because we went with this one over some more expensive smaller ones.

Yeah, Phillips aren't bad at all. I'm a plasma guy, so I haven't heard too much about it. Cool setup, though. I'm definitely digging your game collection

yeah, if i recall correctly we initially ruled out plasma based on poor longevity. then when i continued to read up on it and read somewhere that the longevity was no longer much of an issue, we had narrowed it down to two or three tvs.
the games are my fault sadly, i only play three games, really.
guitar hero 2 (playstation 2), ncaa 06 (xbox360), and madden 08 (xbox). mariokart is for when we have company. we have ncaa 08, but i dont particularly like it.
