Aye, why can't you get anything over 90k? That'* crazy man.. some of the best cars have over 100k. Older than '92, some of the best cars were made in the '60s and '70s..

If the Seville has the Northstar, I'd hit that one first.

If the '95 is not supercharged, i'd stray, because the S2 has that dreaded intake failure.

The Trofeo is nice, but I am unsure if it has the 3800, if it does.. that'd be a good car. Otherwise I'd probably pass.. anything under 3.8L is too small an engine for me.

Don't even bother with Chryslers and Fords.. talk about problems.

2-thats what my parents said were my options. they're gonna pay the balence of a car since i don't have the money for anything, so it'* kinda up to them. and no 60'*/70'* cars, i need something to drive everyday and to work, to school ect.

I personally like the regals and auroras. I would inquire on the regal why it is stated "as is". Also, the aurora is a first year of the model, which might mean more issues than previous years. I suggest that if you know anyone looking at buying a car, ask them what they are trading in and how much they are getting for it? I just picked up a 98 GP GT w/ 68k with a couple non-drivability issues for well within your price range for my brother. I'd also suggest looking at cutlass supremes with the 3.1 in them. They are decent cars.

the regal, aurora, chrysler concorde, olds delta and caddy are all sold.

94 Cierra (not a 96, typo)
elderly driven, mint condition, oil changed regularly

94 New Yorker
runs well, good condition, no rust, loaded

92 Toronado Trofeo
converted A/C, clearcoat peeling, 104-105k, keyless entry, wasnt a kids car, power seats, leak in A/C system (the only problem), no VIC, everything else works, new brakes 1.5 years ago (rotors and such), 3800 V6

So far, Toronado good...

The Trofeo is a cool car, but when the electronics on it start to go, you may be disappointed. Got pics of any of them?

Look for a 96+ Aurora? heh

that 93 taurus might be worth looking at if it only has 35k miles on it. must have been an old person'* car. DO NOT buy a taurus with the 3.8 liter engine. more torque than the car can handle, and notorious for failures of the terminal type. also, if any of those are SHO'*, jump on them. its worth every penny. but if all the gadgets work on the trofeo, then go for it. look at them all i say. and then make a list off all the pro'* and cons. see how it goes

I wouldnt mind an older SHO, but the latest SHO (previous late 90'* body style Taurus) looks like a bastardized version of the Aurora, thusly making it a biting POS...ha!

Good luck with the search and dont mind my bias!

i think i found my car...everything works on the trofeo, cept a A/C leak somewhere, but i'm friends with mechanics (in the car club). the a/c was also retrofitted to the new system too its got 104-105k miles, runs and drives great, new calipers and rotors 1.5 years ago, has all the options except sunroof and VIC, hes never had a major problem with it and the oil and coolant flushes have been regular...

he said $1800 but negotiable since its been for sale for awhile.

EDIT: he said theres only one small rust spot, and he'* willing to sell between 1300-1500...going to look at it tomarr and barring any major problems i'm gonna buy it.

and its a 2 door, sweet...
