My other car burned last night
The 03 Ion caught fire last night. Had it for almost 3 years. Only 62000 miles on it. Not a single problem that required dealer service. Bought it brand new from Saturn of North Houston. A deer ran in front of me and so I slammed on my brakes on a dirt road, car skidded onto shoulder of road, and next thing I know car under hood was on fire. Called 911 and ran probably 1/2 a mile to get to a mail box to see where I was at. The fire trucks beat me walking back to the car. It seems pretty bad will have pics later. Police said it was probably an exhaust and grass fire.

well that sucks! If you didn't hit anything it might fall under comprehensive still. Better a comp deductible instead of a collision one (unless they are the same amount).

Insurance said if it totals out will be a collision ded., if it is fixable will have to be a comp ded. Collision is only 500 and comp is only 250 so either way will be not so bad.
At work Im going on a special project where I was going to be driving an hour one way and getting mileage reimbursement for 3 months, I was going to use the saturn for better gas mileage and too keep miles off the bonnie
