Quick Question about e-bay...
Ok recently bought something off of e-bay and before I started bidding I e-mailed the seller asking him if he could give me a quote for shipping... he sent back and e-mail, promptly, saying that it would be 6.50. Not to bad...
Well I just won the auction and it says that I owe 11.85 for shippping... which I don't want to pay... what are my options here....

E-mail the seller to confirm the amount due, reminding him that you were quoted the 6.50 for shipping. He probably put in the 11.85 as an automatic amount for all shipping areas, but gave you a lower quote because of your location. You are under no obligation to pay the higher amount, if you were quoted something different.

Yep... it'* pretty straightforward, and almost everyone I've ever dealt with has been extremely honest. I have used eBay to buy just about everything! 185 feedback points and counting...
