Snowmobile question
Well first I doubt the americans here are familiar with any of this, but i'm wondering if there is anybody from Canada that knows anything about sleds.
I might be picking up a '94 XLT, im wondering if it would be the 580 triple liquid, if its triple/triple/triple, OR would the '94 be the 600 triple liquid, with triple/triple/triple.
$900 and im gonna pick it up. Im wondering though because the 580 is a monoblock, dont really know if thats a good thing, but say if i threw a rod, uhh i would have to replace the entire block rather than the single cylinders block section. I heard that the 580 monoblock is one of the most reliable engines Polaris ever made.
Also, i took my buddy'* 99 SRX 700 for a rip last night Holy hell i can honestly say its one of the fastest things i ever been on. Nothing is as intense as flying through trails at 60mph and hitting 128mph (on radar) on lakes!!!! Its a shame the states doesnt get enough snow for stuff like this.. If only you could taste what us canucks do !!
The only bad thing about sleds is the ballooning track effect.. haha not fun, im sure anyone could figure that out though....
