I thought I heard somewhere they fixed that problem latter on would this 99 bonnie be worth bidding on?????

This is the same company that ganked my cousin for 5k for a jetta. dont bid.

No. It was not improved for the 99 model year. My 99 was not improved, however, didn't fail (changed it as preventative maintenance). However, two other people on this board had their 99 uppers fail -> 57chevythunder and I'm not sure of the other member'* name.

Search the sticky in the 92-99 section.

Also, notice the zero seller'* feedback?

Perhaps the seller starting "fresh" to clear themselves of any previous scandal, ie, russianpolarbear'* cousin'* Jetta.

They fixed it? As far as I know they never fixed anything and they're still denying that there is even a problem. I think any Series II is vulnerable.
