Who remembers 80's toys?
After seeing this thread http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=72768 it got me remembering those toys from the 80's. So in addition to the toys that I remember, lets see if we can get a fairly good list ;) Oh yeah, the toys I am listing ORIGINATED from the 80's, so GI Joe is not listed.
Transformers (duh) Go-Bots (toy line that spawned a cartoon series) Construx ( I still have mine, and my son plays with them when he is with me) Capsella Robotix (this toy spawned a cartoon too) PogoBall Centurians (another toy that spawned a cartoon) Teddy Ruxpin I know there are more...so reach into those memory banks and those 5.25" floppys and dredge up some toys! |
sorry, but can i play 90's too?
TALKBOY... oh man i had fun with that thing |
I was inseparable from my Nintendo Gameboy.
When I was younger I loved those big Tonka trucks, and matchbox cars. Oh, and my bike was the most important thing to me in the world... lol |
8 Bit Nintendo, Super Mario Brothers... Goonies... And many others... Man O Man those were the Days..
And I loved My Turbo Tyco train set  And that first toy I could drive... an 89 SSE  __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

Snap....just remembered another one...I think the name was Leeon Neeon or something like that. They were glow in the dark necklace/bracelet things that you could join together and make other cool things. Mon-chi-chis Popples Wacky-wall-walkers (god I loved them...mom didn't though) |
Re: Who remembers 80's toys?
I guess I'm a little weird...
Rubics Cube was about the only 80's toy I owned. The rest of my hobbies revolved around model trains (still collect brass locomotives and rolling stock) and all things mechanical/electrical. I'm from a different generation. Best 1980's toy I got... 1987 Honda CBR600F "Hurricane". In the words of the motorcycle press of the day: "Something this bitchin can't be legal!" The first time I wound it up to 130mph on US 119 near Connellsville PA one autum night, I was hooked on sportbikes for life. |
