doing my own taxes this year...
my dad is to busy to help me since he is so far away...
i know some of my friends are taking there taxes to companies like H&R block, and they said those companies can help them get more money back... plus its foolproof... but what does it cost?
or i could go the turbotax route...
what does BC suggest?

well assuming you do not have kids, own a business, have retirement , house payment, etc, I think you should be good to do it online just about anywhere.
H&R block can also take a fat chunk out of your refund too.

Either way, you've got it easy until you get a wife, kids, etc. cuz then you have to deal with receipts, deductions and all that fun stuff.
Speaking of taxes, I should be getting my W-2s soon so I can get some much needed money for bills.
Good Luck

H&R is a RIP off! They wanted $265 to do my taxes. I just walked out. I've been doing my own taxes ever since. I am self employed. It is way more technical, so they would charge you less but still around $80-90. Thats a chunk of you're refund right there. Just keep track of any deductions and follow the intructions on the form and you should be good to go.
