More *-10 Blazer fun this weekend.
This time its my brothers 82. 2.8 V6 4x4, 4 speed manual. Clutch went awhile back. Our focus had been thier Lesabre and the folks Blazer, so his got the back seat. We got started today. Neither one of us had changed a clutch before. Here are some things I learned
Old Blazers don't have much more room than newer ones (even with AC delete)
They can be REALLY dirty and rusty underneath
Transfer cases are heavy and the gear oil STINKS
Should have had a new flywheel ready to go also. Old one didnt look TOO bad but would have felt better to go back with a new one.
Its not done yet, still in my driveway and if the weather holds, we get to finish tomorrow.
All in all, a fun day wrenching with my brother and son!
