How to Freak Your Friends Out

For those of you, like me, who have friends and/or family that always want you to fix their computers...

Bwah ha ha!!! This'll teach my sister to stop bugging me about the fact that she can't keep spyware off her computer!

LOL I hate computer pranks and weary of accepting things any more. My last desktop was inside a bottom cabinet of my desk with the door closed ( the back side was removed there for ventilation.) A friend sent me a "joke" program with a Coca Cola bottle cap icon and said check this out. I installed the program, it put the icon on my destop and I clicked it. A little message box came up saying "Heres your new cup holder. At the same time I started hearing a tap tap tap coming from inside the desk and wondered WTF. It stopped as quickly as it started and when I opened the door to that section, I found the CD tray stopped where it was against the door with the pastic rack and pinion that opened the tray stripped

LMAO - I got a call Friday afternoon.
"Hi, is this Jeremy?"
No - I'm Tim.
"oh... I'm your sons cousin Mary and I was told to call you and see if you can fix my computer.
No thanks. Bye. <click>

now if any of my brothers and sisters had any kids maybe one would be named Mary, but since I don't have any kids at all its impossible to begin with.

now my wife has a cousin Mary, but shes 20 years older than me... no other Mary'* in her family.

I'm just a step-popa but WOW what some people will try to get free computer help.
