No refund this year? :(

I'm a little luckier in that regard. I just broke the four-figure mark for my refund.

I'm not getting any more than $36, and it couldn't come at a worse possible time either...

My parents still list me as a dependant.

$$$$.00

Basically I did 8 months worth of internships this year (with 4 months of school), and all my tax deductions on my paychecks were done as if I was working all year long. Add to that tax credits from tuition, and I can get back a lot.

Yeah, wish I could say the same.

I might be the biggest fool of the thread with a combined federal/state return of over $5000

Goodness, I just went back and looked at the form W-4 and realized that you CAN account for itemized deductions on that form Well, this isn't going to happen next year!
