Bonneville on Dirty Jobs
I was watching Dirty Jobs Tuesday night with my g/f and guess what! There was Bonneville!!
The episode was mining in a salt mine in Kentucky, and the miners had dissembled a (I think it was an '86) Bonneville, lowered it through the elevator and reassembled it, it was all chopped up, no roof, roll cage, no trunk(more like a truck bed/flatbed)they used it to get around in the mines. And it wasn't just a flash of the car and you don't see it again, They even mentioned the bonneville and they definatly spent a good minute or two talking about it!
I heard the guy say yep its a Pontiac...and I redirected my attention to the TV and hear Bonneville, and im like Cool! and my g/f was like oh come on! She thinks im obsessed, and i guess I am, as the rest of us most likely are too! (I will go out of my way even on a date to card a Bonneville, and have done so 6 times )

noooooooooooooo, that was a '77-'81 or '82 to '86 with the Olds diesel engine. My guess is the '77-'81 just because it was pretty dang big
