Default wtf. recieved a $107 ticket in the mail today....%#@$%

just like the title states i recieved a $107 fine in the mail today from buck'* county police.
its a fine for the day i had got into the accident. it states that its a fine for

(failure to yeild for a stop sinn)

wtf is this about.? o.k at the scene of the accident the responding officer said he has to give me a ($25) fine because my registration expired 1 day before the accident. so he said he will mail it to me and i should get it in 5 buisness days at the most.. today which is 1 month later i recieve a $107 fine for going thru a stop sign. now how come at the day of the accident the cod said he cant say anything about who'* at fault because he did not see what happened with his own eyes. he also did not ever mention anything about me going thru the stop sign when he responded to the accident....

this is just pure bull$h!t and i would really appericate it if someone can offer me some advice on what to do.. i have ten days to pay or appeal it. but they still want a $50 sercharge no matter what i do .?

go to court to setup a payment plan if you can't afford it. I doubt you will get out of it though

well since you got in an accident, that is what they assume. If everyone followed all the rules, there would not be ANY accidents.

There is no proof that you DIDN'T stop either.

That'* not the way the justice system works. Innocent until proven guilty. Lack of evidence is NOT evidence.

now this is exactly how i feel. lack of edvidence is not evidence enough. so why should i have to pay $107 if there is no proof an dno witness'* and no said word that any one went thru a stop sign..

the other driver was not ticketed for making an illegal left turn from the far right lane because the cop said he did not see so he can say it happened and just give him a ticket.

so why ticket me.?

I think you might do well to appeal it, saying that there was no conclusive evidence that you ran the stop sign, and the cop did not witness the accident or you running the stop.
