Gonna need a new frame, and a new cab. Might be able to just cut the cowl off and weld a new one on, but what'* the point? The amount of work it'd take to fix that is way beyond what it'd cost to get a new one. Strip what can be salvaged and start over.

I am not sure why this is even a question. you'll need a frame, drivetrain, front half of the tub, doors before you even think of putting it together.
Just tell him to part it. Use the good sheet metal on another one and call it a day.
