AC power wire colors HELP.
ok, so I got a free power cord for a computer power supply, but it had the brittish end on it. The colors in the wire are light blue, light brown (could be called tan) and yellow with a green stripe.
Then I have another wire, with a US end on it, and the wire colors are the normal green, white, black.
what goes where?!?

anyway i thought that pc power supplys were interchangeable between us and europe, just gott flip the swithc ont he power supply and plug the right type of cord into it...

Does this help? I asked Jeeves:
European:
Blue = neutral
Brown = hot
Yellow/Green = Ground
American:
White = neutral
Black = hot
Green = ground

Come on now Mr. RIT....you let an old lady find that for you?
