What wideband do you use?
 

I am looking at getting an Innovative Motorsports LM-1 hand held wideband kit for me and Tom to use on our cars. Innovate is one of the best names in widebands I can find, plus they are one of the few companys I can find who make hand held meter kits.

I have found the LM-1 kit which includes the hand held meter, a power cable, the sensor, a bung, and plug for $259.00 which is a very reasonable price I think.

I have used a wideband from PLX and loved it! but it was a perm install so not an option for me and Tom.


What do those of you who have a wideband use and how well does it work for you?

I have a LC-1, but my sensor died. Need to get a new one.

Depending on howwe wired that into the cars we could possible use that and save a hundred bucks, but I still like the LM-1 since it has a screen too.

I guess me and tom will have to look into that. . . the LC-1 is nice and compact which is good.. . . . .

Okay well I think the LC-1 Looks like the way to go.

I have the LC1 as well. However there was a nice long discussion at HPTuners about the best ones to have. It's a something PLX with NGK sensor, supposedly they are the tops of actual reading etc and work best.

At work I deal with wideband O2 sensors quite a bit, read the HPTuners forum all the time, and have done self-tuning in the past. I agree that NGK makes a quality sensor, but what sold me on the LC-1 was the ability to calibrate it. The open air cal will insure that the wideband's reading is accurate.

That's a good price, mine was about $250.
