07 Cadillac STS-V
So I work for GMAC... and we got a 07 Cadillac STS-V in today.. its got the 400+ hp Supercharged N* with a 6 speed.. Omg I drove this around for a bit and this thing has to be the sweetest car I have driven I can barely touch the pedal and just smoke the tires so bad... I left a 100 foot patch in the parking lot.

That is one Cadillac I could see myself driving.... just not for another few yrs though.
I am curious as to what supercharger they utilize..... the way the intake comes in right where I'd suspect the SC pulley would be, unless the SC inlet is on the top towards the rear like the Supercoupe Thunderbirds, which I suspect being the car is either AWD or RWD.
EDIT:
Oh, and I would really like to see a side-by-side comparison run of a SRT-8 vs one of these Cadillac STS-V'* at the drag strip -in person.

Oh thats my dream car. BTW- you need to change the title. That is a STS-V with 469hp. It does perform weaker than I would expect though. The E55 AMG also has 469hp but runs the quarter in a whole second faster than the STS-V. Mid low 12s vs. mid low 13s for the STS-V. The torque of the the E55 (514) vs. the STS-V (439) is likely the reason but you'd think with 469hp the STS-V would trap higher than 106mph. Heh, I don't care it still looks 10000X better than the E55

Looks like the resale on these with 10k miles is quite below the MSRP of $77,485..... -there is a 2006 STS-V for sale on ebay with 10k miles for $49,950 BUY IT NOW and I'd suspect a bid of $48,500-$49,000 + license, taxes and fees, would drive it home.
That is quite the hit on the investment. :?
