Default You guys like toys? I made a KILLING today!

At the wireless store. I got 3 desktop docking stations (not just chargers, all accessories including PC interface mate with these). They have little clocks, and an extra spot in the back for a battery. One for the desk at work to sync with my Outlook calendar, one for home...the other???? Modify for the car???? These are normally $49.95 each.

And the BIG score. A charging hands-free unit with amplified speaker and retractable microphone. This sucker is crisp, clear, and LOUD. My phone has voice dial, so it'* truly hands-free with this sucker. It'* normally $99.95. Now the question is where to put this thing? I was thinking on the hump behind the stereo? Between it and the firewall? Side of the center console? Under my seat? Under the dash? I dunno. But for the price I paid, WHO CARES????

It was a good day.

Just came out. Brand-new V505. They don't even have accessories or software for it yet. But I tricked their old V501 software

So where do I mount this thing? I'd like to hardwire and permanently mount it. Maybe even use one of the FM modulator thingies inline? Play it through the FM?

The hump sounds just like what i was thinking of. Good place, and you can run wires to the console for the phone etc.

Maybe put the mount for the phone integrated into the ash tray somehow....

Side note, i got a car charger for free for my Samsung, they gave it to my mom when she said how we both didn't have one, picking up a phone for my bro. Smellbird turned me onto the overhead compartment/cig ligher for that, i don't like the dash one because the cord hangs infront of everything, and the console one gets caught between the seats and the console, so the overhead bin works nice, and i'll either keep the phone up there, or in the visor. Smelly likes it because it looks like a CB, specially with his Nextell walkie talkie.
