i like the bfg atko, they normally way outlast the rating if maintained well. they are also very good in light offroad and snow/ice. i dont really off road any more just move the trailers around in the mud and snow, does very well with that type of thing.

I left a milk crate in front of the GTP and when I pulled out of the garage. Crack goes the bumper. OOps. I guess that is what I get when I don't drive a car for weeks on end and I just pull it out of the garage.

i ran into the tree out front it was dented pretty good in the same spot. let it sit in the sun for a while and worked it out with a heat gun. those plastic bumper just kind of pop back with some careful heat and pulling. all i had was a little hairline crack after only i could see

The milkcrate made a scarping sound and when I hit an unlevel piece of concrete I heard a slight crack. I had my car backed into the garage.

I will get out my spray gun, and get it with some more primer and then put some color down. I will probably clear it and then wet sand and buff the whole front bumper and hope it blends in well.

Wasted a lot of gas running all over for parts.
Truck has had a bunch of issues in the last week. Money has been tight, so I let the brakes go a lot longer than I probably should have.
So, I end up getting the part numbers for the front rotors and pads the first time. Back again a second time to get the rear ones (or so I thought).
Then, the guy helping to do the brakes originally said it needed an o-ring for the caliper, since it was leaking. So I ran all over to try and find a replacement. Almost no one carries a rebuild kit. Found one, and got it to order in for tomorrow morn. Then come back to find out that the whole piston cracked apart, and I'd need the whole caliper anyway. On top of that, the second pair of rotors I got were too wide (got 30mm) and needed the 20mm ones.
I knew I was in for trouble when I tell the parts clerks what I need, and you can watch their eyes glaze over and they look like they are about to pass out. Just looking at the screens and all the 5000 choices, I get a bit sick myself.
It shouldn't be this difficult to fix some rear brakes on a popular truck....

gm really made it a pain to do those ones. i was doing my old mans 04, i try to do the order online thing because you save money ended up getting most everything wrong and had to take it all back anyway. would it friggin kill them to just have one 1500 type.

Pretty happy with the results. Need to wet sand it out yet and it should look great.
