I put my windshield led strip back up today. It'* hooked up to the interior lights, so they help make up for my map lights, who work whenever they want.
I also bought some new Blazer bulbs for my fog lights last week. They're much whiter than what was in them. I'm really happy with them.

finished up fishin truck, replaced broken vacuum hoses, filled up the fluids, put the battery back in and fired it up. quick test ride.
Time to figure out all the extra wires, looks like accessories and trailer wires all connect direct to battery and grounds are even run to the front of the engine bay? I'm sure to find unused wires, probably hot too. lol

i filled my car with on wednesday night about 6 and we left. did the same with laurens car. drive till midnight, stopped in effingham illinois cause we were beat from packing all day and driving a very sketchy uhaul that you turned and prayed with. got up thursday, drove some more, got here and the cars are still full. movers will be here monday. its a very long, annoying frustrating story about the movers.
long story short, we got new ones cause the first ones never showed up after i paid them a 1k deposit.

"idk i havent looked, why?"
I don't know on your year, but earlier years of Chevy/GMC trucks are known for ball joints wearing prematurely, often because the joint did not get greased, a result of quickie lube joints and complacency with sealed ball joints (everyone thinking the joint doesn't need grease, many GM trucks use non sealed ball joints). I am about to do a friends ball joints on his full size Chevy, and a check of the joints is that they are bone dry- no grease.
