It was going too easy.had to return the right strut to get the right strut. I was given a standard right side instead of the Ultra right side.it is bigger input shaft on ultra so waiting for the part
.Had to ream the ball joint rivet holes and get longer bolts than what came with them and some reaming to get the bolts through, pain in the butt but never have to do that again these lasted 180 thou, don't plan on going that far in the next ten yrs.

My car hates me. SES light came on while driving back from FL, car still runs fine though. Stopped in Montgomery to see an old friend. When I went to leave, the car had trouble starting. It'd crank just fine, but it wouldn't fire. When it finally did, it was fine. Very odd. Gonna run the code today. Also, I'm certain my UIM and LIM are shot. I can smell coolant from the outside, I'm adding about once a week, I pulled the engine cover and saw a couple puddles in the valve cover bolt areas, and now I can smell coolant when I first turn on the heater.

Is it hard to do that job on a Supercharged motor? Is there a how-to anywhere? If I can't do it what could I expect to pay?

wow. that sucks.

on a different note, got my cb today. then was disappointed cause a) its too dark to mount it. and b) the bracket is too short to mount it how i want, so im thinkin about using a lawn chair i was gonna throw out as a spacer. (one of the painted tubes that matches my gray interior incase anyone crawls under the dash.) ive got about 15 hrs to think about how i wanna do it anyway lol.

Easy job Mouse. Look in tech info, I did a write up on it. I can swap them out in about 2 hours. Only special tool you need is a inch pound torque wrench. Also, the LIM bolts are 3/8, not 10mm. Don't ask me why.

Any info you need on a supercharger, just let me know. I've rebuilt a few.

Went to the dealer to get a new steering wheel switch ordered. Replaced the plugs, and did an oil change last night while it was still "relatively" warm out. 45 degrees in January in upstate NY is crazy. I can deal with this!
Now its back to work. By the time I get another day off, it will probably be back to the January we NY'ers all know and hate... craploads of snow, tons of salt on the roads, and -5 degrees outside. (and I still haven't been able to fix my heated seats. cold winter+leather= in the morning!)

The write I found was on a N/A motor. Is there no difference?

Very little. Only difference is remove the supercharger instead of the UIM. Below that, all the same. Just remember, there are 12 LIM bolts, count them. If the LIM don't pop off easy, you missed one. I use a shop vac and suck some coolant out of the thermostat hole before pulling the LIM. Watch for coolant in the lifter valley, clean it up.
