I know what you mean about the old car smell. My Cutlass smells like an old car. Even the exhaust has an odor too it. Probably from the lack of a catalytic converter.

That was a sign from up above. No need to wash today.

Lets see, I spent all day pulling my engine, pull a part here and there, put it on new engine. Set aside, pull transmission, swear at the fact I broke a cooler line. Swear about where they put those 3 bolts on the back side. Swear about this, that and everything else about how those trannies are mounted. I SHOULD have been done by now. But I'm NOT! Grrrrrr.

My buddy jeff wanted to show me his 2000 silverado with the 9 inch lift good lord that thing sits high its sweet as hell, hes got some mods on it that we are talking about doing to mine so he was showing and explaining everything to me, and he wanted to see mine and hear the exhaust so i did that, we basically stood around the shop parking lot for almost an hour showing off our stuff lmao

spent all day yesterday replacing my FPR on the yukon, i figured i might as well replace the intake manifold gaskets while there. the 96-99 vortec engines are common for those. mine were bad, got everything cleaned and put back together and the new fpr is bad worse than the one i took out. so now since this is the worst intake manifold design ever i get to spend a few more hours taking the upper man back apart and taking it back to advance to get a different one.
this morning im going out to the shop to get my saw cleaned up and take the atv out, to clear club trails, hopefully be done for the race.
