i was looking at hpt and they want 500 for the program and like 100 for each normal car, it would take quite a while to make that up at 125-150

Good to know, Dan. I may be in need of your services.
Top swap for my LeSabre is still on my mind. Gotta swap to the HD diff too, so as much as I'd like to buy a top swap kit, and the HD diff, and get my own HPT, the money just isn't there for all of it.
And since we are still getting snow, its still mid teens for temps, and the roads still suck, I didn't do much with mine yesterday besides drive it. I did get my corner marker lights replaced. (Pass side was out). And I replaced my reverse lights with the Silverstar replacements. I needed one anyway, so I figured, what the heck. They claim they are supposed to be brighter, and light up a wide path behind you.
I can't claim measurable data here, but since I park in exactly the same place every night (literally, within a foot or so), backing up into this little spot was so much easier. The bulbs certainly appear brighter. I should have took a comparison shot when I had them in, but having the whole freaking trunk panel off to just change the bulbs, I wanted to get that thing back in place ASAP. What a pain, just to change some bulbs! But worth the effort!

with the initial 500 you get enough points for 3 or 4 individual cars, it may work out for me when i think about stuff i would like to be able to do. they hook up obd2 cars to the computer here for emissions every year and i have been fighting evap codes on the bonnie almost since i bought it. it would be nice to be able to turn it off and plug it at the tb. plus ive been thinking about a 3500 swap into the monte instead of buying a new car when i get too many on the 3400. and it would be nice to adjust the shift points on the yukon.

So I borrowed $50 and changed out my TPS. WoW! What difference that made on how it drives!!! So much smoother and more responsive! My tranny still won't go into 4th gear, but at least it doesn't jet forward or almost stall out anymore!

Worked on a Park Ave today.

Replaced the supercharger with a ported one.
DSC03773.jpg
Putting in the new 42.5# injectors.

All done, N* throttle body and LQ4 MAF. And a 2.8" pulley.
