What is all this plus minus stuff?

I've noticed a lot of people will simply respond to posts with -1 or +1... what exactly does this mean?

J Wikoff 05-18-2005 03:16 PM

It means they agree or disagree.

+1 I agree

-1 I disagree

BillBoost37 05-18-2005 04:02 PM

X2 I second it
X3 You get the jist

harofreak00 05-18-2005 07:10 PM

I never use the - or + but I will use the x2, x3. That's a new one to me. :D

repinS 05-18-2005 08:26 PM

A +1 can also be signified as flooding, I've seen it before.

Never a -1, however :?

SSsuperchargedEi 05-18-2005 08:41 PM

x 6 = ???

Xac Xado 05-18-2005 08:58 PM

one that took me a while to figure out was TTT - i looked it up and the web site i found said it was IM speak for Thought That Too. which was very confusing because i saw it multiple times in a row on some posts.

around here TTT actually means To The Top. its a way to keep some posts in the eyes of everyone checking for new posts.

repinS 05-19-2005 07:34 AM

Yeah, TTT = To The Top.
