Went to my first AutoX

Well I went to my first AutoX this weekend. Saturday was the test and tune day. It was cloudy and spitting rain all day, but the track set up allowed me to stand much closer to the track. Today (sunday) was 60something out and very sunny. I didn't like how far I had to stand from the track but oh well.

These are my first ever panning pictures and straight from the camera, with only a resize.

Really nice pictures Rob!!

That EVO has some NASTY body roll to it... i wouldn't mind stiffening up that thing a bit if i owned one

that was at RiT right? What lot was it in, i was trying to figure it out. Would have loved to take my GTI down it.

Very cool pix.... looks like a wide range of cars!

Any pix of your car? What class did you run?
What others were in your class? How were your times/runs?

G and H lot If you drove around the loop on campus you would not have missed it.

Very wide range of cars. I didn't run. The 2000 century that I currently drive would suck balls in an autoX. Although I am going to enter myself and the century into the novice school in like 2 weeks cause I would like to learn more about the sport. If I had my bonneville still, I would have entered.

Sweet pics, and glad to see you're getting interested. A bit of a warning though: once you try it, you'll never go back! You'll be selling off the Century to get a better car in no time, then the suspension work comes

You have no idea how much I want to sell the century anyways.

Good stuff!

I'm glad to see others on this forum are interested in AutoX.
(or AutoSlalom as it's called in Canada)
