Weather from hell in midwest.
 

Here in northern Illinois there is sleet, freezing rain, and the such today so when driving its best to be extra careful. Well sadly when coming into town this morning I saw a fellow Pontiac Grand Am and Chevy Cavalier on a trailer. Damaged almost beyond recognition. :(

Where do you live? I am in Chicago.

I'm pretty used to all of it by now. My car is a mess but I will not clean it until it stops snowing for sure.

IRocco, I live north of DeKalb, which is 20 minutes east of Rockford. Basically if you take I-88 to DeKalb your only 10 miles south of my house...roughly. :wink:

Farthest I go toward Chicago on my own is Elk Grove. So if you live near there you may see me time to time on business.

I drive to work everyday, from the vicinity of Oak Park Ave and Armitage, all the way to the Aon Center (Amoco Building, or SOB to all you old timer locals).

The snow wasn't the worst I've ever seen. Just the level of competence for most drivers falls sharply when its raining or snowing. Actually, the expressway was fine, its the side streets that sucked. Hurray for Stabilitrac and Traction Control, not to mention ABS.

Freegan winter sucks!!!!! here in the eastern parts too :evil: workin....night shift and comin' out to -30 weather really sucks! :( ..my car is f***ked now.......shocks or springs frozen/broken :shock: HELP.....its bouncin' really weird when driving on these "chitty" frozen roads....I am not a happy camper :evil:

Hey i feel sorry for you poor slobs back east............out here :twisted: we had only 5days of snow ...awwwwwwwwwwwwwww :lol: so hopefuly you get no more.....or all ours we didn`t get oooppps did i say that. RED RULES
