Default TAX time

getting time to think about taxes again

I think I have had enough of HR block and the other big box preparers. Found a site, www.freetaxusa.com, or I can try my hand at TurboTax, supposedly anyone with a pulse can use it, according to an aquaintance.

Just 3 W2'* and a 401k, should be simple enough right?

I don't know how much time you have but I say just do you're own. I'm an indepedent contractor (sucks for taxes ) and do them myself. I'm not all that smart either so i'm sure you can do them no problem. It will save you lots of $$$$$.

Or if you make less then 30K a year i thin it is, might be more now.

You can goto Taxfreedom.com or Statetaxfreedom.com

If you have state taxes make sure you goto the State one.

Before i worked for where i am now, i supported TurboTax. it WAY!!!!! better then Tax Cut trust me on that one

and if you use either of those two websites up there you can use TurboTax for Free and Free E-File.

They are free for people making under $30K, eh? I'll have to look into that.

I can't wait to see my tax return. First year as a home owner. Should be pretty nice.

I also got an e-mail from our mortgage officer that said next year mortgage insurance will be deductable if you make less than $100,000

I usually go to H&R Block and have them do it. I dont want to risk leaving something out and messing it up.
