Upcoming Deployment
Its like 1:10am and I get the ruddest wake up call in my life. Ive been alerted to possible deployment to the middle east[again] in less than 4 weeks. I hear iraq is pretty this time of year. They make the IEDs and Roadside bombs colored for july 4th[no pun intended, ive dealt with my fair share of them, so no complaining]. But yea, I go in for a physical tomorrow in detroit, and probably find out my fate for the next 18 months. Im so happy to be going to train ING how to destroy a building.

Good Luck and be careful. My brother is in SF and has been to Iraq 4 times that we know of. It'* always a long wait until we get the next email from him.
The best advice he says he has to anybody going over is to never touch anything that you didn't put there or know who did. The IED is the worst thing about going over there.
They booby-trap everything. Watch your *** and your buddies asses.
The people in the military have nothing but my utmost respect and admoration.

Yea no doubt. lol Id leave my keys to someone that would put in thw wrench time on the engine while I was gone. . I find out more at the end of the week. Hopefully they will have enough numbers. Every unit getting deployed has an percentage of overage. Unit I am supposed to be going with has exhausted that, so hpopefully they will find more ppl from their unit before they tap into ours. Either way it turns out, Im excited

Keep your head down, and I don't mean that as a figure of speech.
If they do tap you to go, stay on your toes, and keep your eyes and ears open.
Come back in one peice, OK?
