Yet another new feature: anti-sigs
I whipped up a change to the forum'* code tonight that adds a new feature: the ability to turn off sigs.
If you're using a modem and don't want to wait for those sig images to load, or if you just want threads to take less vertical space, simply change the "Always show other signatures" value in your profile to "no," and you will no longer see anybody'* message signature. If you decide that you want them back, you can always change the value back to "yes." For the record, sigs will be on by default.

Nice, this was a feature seen on non-phpBB forum softwares, great to see it integrated here for the more downloadingly challenged. Cheers

That should just about solve a lot of the problems.
HOWEVER, members, do NOT treat this as a carte blanche to overdo your signatures. Respect the requested sizes.
Thanks for the continued efforts Jeff...
