My first choice was the Coast Guard but when they asked how tall I was and I answerd the said no. You see I'm under 6 foot tall and don't qualify because I can't walk to shore when my boat sinks. :D

In reallity you know I have the utmost respect for all that served. If it weren't for the Navy I can promise you I wouldn't be here today. I owe them my life. The Army and Air Force were also important in my road to recovery after the fact.

And one of the first things they teach us in field training? When under attack, protect the Navy Medical Corpsman. With your life if necessary. We all took it seriously. I bet there's alot of corpsmen out there with big bruises from being tackled by Marines, but no other scratches on their hides

Yeah, they probably wouldn't have minded as much, if it hadn't happened in a bar!

Gotta love interservice rivalry, huh?

A very interesting event that takes place the first time you cross the equator. I'll leave the details to your imagination but lets just say you are a far way from home and prying eyes if you know what I mean.

Justind23 11-12-2003 03:31 PM

Yes I do. They are always ready for me to put on. We like to call them "Catch me, F*#k me's"
