Default Over 75K Miles Motor Oil

i was at the store the other day getting some oil and saw this stuff....does this stuff really make a difference?? my cougar(my g/f'* car) has 104,407 miles, should i be usin this motor oil?? whats the difference between this and normal oil?

has anyone here ever used it??

I use valvoline high mileage synthetic and this stuff http://www.restoreusa.com/

My engine never eats oil or leaks. It use to eat oil before I used that restore stuff.

I've been using Castrol GTX and Quaker State dino juice...no issues..i used the higher mileage stuff in my old bonny once...didnt notice a difference...but that didnt leak or burn oil even at 156,000 miles.

Not sure. Last time I changed my oil I opted for a 75000+ mile oil FILTER. Supposed to have some slow release crap in it or something. I think its a marketing gimick...pft...fram

thats what i think, its a gmick to make you buy their stuff. cuz look at all the cars that lasted past 75K and they didnt have those filters or oils..

I agree with your Mechanic in a can comment, but there are SOME products out there that can help in certain unique situations. But none are a permanent fix.
