Umm.....odd question

so uh there is this 93 SSESC at work and it is a little beat up and neglected, not sure who drives it, never talked to the owner, but how would I go about leaving a message on the windshield expressing interest that I would like to purchase it? or what should I do?

Heres my idea:

Hello, I noticed you have a 93 Bonneville....This is probably a REALLY odd question but if you would like to sell your car for a reasonable price I have cash waiting regardless of mechanical condition or miles. Anyway if you would like to get rid of it email me at *******@*******.com or call me at 735-****. If you dont want to part with it, make sure you check out bonnevilleclub.com if you have any questions on how to fix your car if it ever breaks.

How lame heh

heres some pics I took back in april lol:

dont be shy, just leave a note on the windshield, express what you want to tell them.

ha ha. yeah I'm not shy, just dont want to be rude or something since I would be like WTF if someone left a note wanting my car.

anyway my history with notes telling people to check out bvilleclub did not go to well on both of these cars:

however later I saw an 80 year old guy driving the 2002+ se there lol.

If the wheels are stock, it's a 93. The wheels weren't available in 92 and I've never seen a 94/95 SSE SC.

I'd say go for it :) It's very flattering to have someone want your car, even if you don't want to sell it. Oddly enough, I get this fairly often with both pickup trucks and my Bonneville.

I've left BonnevilleClub.com references before, I just don't know if they worked.

I would leave out the part that says you have cash and really would like to buy the cr regardless of the mechanical problems. They will see dollar signs. Just ask if they are interested in selling the car and then say everything else you wrote.

Never let on as to how much you want something- it will always cost you more then.

I say go for it. What's the worse that could happen? He think you're a stalker? He don't even know you anyway.

Yeah he would...he'd have his number and email addy.

But, anyways, I say go for it. No one is going to be mad about a friendly offer to purchase their car. People leave messages on cars and they're not usually very nice, this is different.
