As you may or may not know, I live in Canada and work in the US. Getting into the US this morning was easy, but I am dreading going home tonight due to the long lines of Americans fleeing to Canada. Canada is thinking about building a wall to keep the Americans out.
As the headline for the Huffington Post stated this morning, "WTF America"!
The best line I heard last night was one reporter comparing Trump to an experimental cancer drug. The patient is dying and current drugs aren't helping, so even though we know there are all sorts of negative side effects of the new drug, we have nothing to lose by trying it. Worse that can happen is we die, which is no worse than what will happen if we stay the course.

I'm anxious to see the outcome of Trump. I am really hoping that something is done about the southern border.
Speaking of which Roy, i've been curious to ask. How does that work with you residing in Canada and working in the US. What taxes do you pay or if at all?

USA is in extremely serious straits, as unemployment is closer to 53%, not the 5% reported in the news. Add to it a huge debt and deficit. Printing money has been working, but at some point will break the USA'* back.
The only way out of a financial collapse is manufacturing/ producing, and exporting goods. There is no other way out in the history of the world that will avoid a collapse and the activities that occur after a collapse.
Trump has been around the block more than a few times. I know of no other person in the USA that has the possibility of bringing manufacturing back to USA. Will Trump do it, I have no idea, but he is our best and last hope.

Working in the States and living in Canada means I don't have to pay taxes at all, since the States doesn't know where I live, and Canada thinks I have no income. I wish! In truth, I pay US and state taxes just like anyone else. I also submit a Canadian tax return, but any taxes I pay in the US are a credit toward what I owe in Canada. The net result is I end up paying what I would have paid in Canada anyways, but the US gets the large chunk.
I think Trump was the better choice between the two you had to pick from, but I find it hard to believe he is the best person qualified in all the US. He is not a team player, and I think you need that. I think the sad thing about the whole process is out of 320 million people the only choices you had were HC and DT. Their campaigns were focused on how bad the other candidate was, not what their plans were for getting your country back on track.
