Defective how?

They didn't work how I intended them to work for the application I thought I could use them for...like screwdrivers and pry bars or chisels, hammers as scrapers, Crescent wrenches for all bolts and nuts, etc.

There's enough tools in my lake to fill a tool chest. You can also have all the swear words tat come with them....there still handing in the air over my place after I unleashed them with the tools. :)

"PLIERS: Used to round off bolt heads. Sometimes used in the creation of blood-blisters"

And you know after 40 years, to this day I find myself letting a worn pair of Channel Locks do this to me. Great Thread Todd!

The only time tools fly and swear words, well, also fly is when headers are being installed.

Or when I have to do something really STUPID to do something easy. Like remove the alternator to change one spark plug on a grand caravan, or remove a stud on a motor mount to change a supercharger belt.

How about the back 3 plug wires that haven't been off in the 1st 100k miles?

Danthurs 01-25-2010 11:07 PM

I had to change plugs once and the plug twisted off leaving the threads in the head. I was not happy. Came out with a easyout.

Been there.....I thought I was gonna strip the outer sheath off the plug wires I was pulling so hard. Then they popped off and then I started to bleed. :)

I've avoided that so far....knock on wood. I was leaning over my 79 Camaro's fender and adjusting the distributor while the car was running. Came in contact with a plug/wire combo with my nuts against fender. Thought I got kicked in the junk by a Clydesdale.....those swear words are still hanging in the air at my old place.

Now I'm laughing, not at you, will, ok, ya I'm laughing at you. When I was in school for automotive I had a timing light, and couldn't get a good angle. I touched the high voltage lead and it shorted in to the metal gun, which I had in my hand, I pulled back, and hit myself in the face. I then stood up saying a few choice words only to hit my head on the hood. I didn't like that car any more.
