The things that people will do to get on YouTube....

BTW, did you notice that one version of that clip was called "Dog Collar on Human Man"?
Now THAT I laughed at. Good thing it wasn't Rodent Man or Chicken Man.

I cant believe people actually put those on their dogs. My dad had one for our pointer years back and it would shock him so bad he'd flip over. Absolutely inhumane. In high school I convinced a friend of mine to let me shock him with it and I'd buy him a Blizzard (he was a fat kid) and he did it. It was actually kinda funny to do to a person....but I'd never put one on my dog...

My brother puts one on one of his dogs once in a while. He stays quiet with it on for the most part, but I really don't know if it works well, because he will still bark if he feels like it and it doesn't seem to effect him.

But my brother'* dog is HORRIBLE when it comes to barking, and he does not listen. You can start to talk with someone sitting next to you and he will start barking...a lot. You go in the bathroom he will start barking. He will bark if you MOVE. And he'* a Corgi so his bark gives you a piercing headache.

In multiple dog households, the chances of some collars picking up peripheral sounds increases the chance that the collar will shock the dog wearing it even if he isnt barking. If you want, I can PM some info and websites about breaking the barking habit humanely. But, risking a bit of a hijack, try diluting a bit of hot sauce or lemon juice into water and spray it into the dogs mouth after a firm 'no' then praise him as soon as he shuts up. I've got ALOT more where that came from....
