the best music you've never heard!
i figured i'd start a thread here as a showcase of some of the best music i have ever heard, but isn't really that popular, in the hopes that someone on here would discover it. feel free to post links to videos or clips of bands that aren't very popular but you think should be.
heres the first band i will post for your enjoyment.
Corvas Corax
heres some info on the band:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvus_Corax_(band)
and heres the video, suam elle ires:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jrTR...elated&search=
i would argue that do other band in the world has this much fun.
now show me what you think is the greatest music i will never hear.

Ooo, I like this topic I'll put in my two cents:
From Bristol, Massive Attack:
Early MA:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbvsvaRyvr8
In their prime:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6iUBd2D38E
(yes, it'* the house theme song )
One of their most recent tracks:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LgrGHWSy6k
From Massachusetts, headed by former Dispatch lead singer Chad Urmston, State Radio:

The Beautiful Charlotte Gainsbourg, daughter of French mastermind Serge Gainsbourg:

Sadly, this band broke up last year, but this is Grandaddy from California:

Ehh, I think if I post more, I'll take up the whole page so I'll stop

Good stuff here! I love getting pointed to new music. How 'bout some more!
The Exit - I enjoy "The Sun Will Rise in Queens" and "Don't Push" of the four songs listed. Anything from the album Home for an Island is pretty darn good.
Clutch - "Burning Beard" video - These are my "go-to" guys... If you're interested, find their song "Big News 1". MyLittleBlackBird and I got to hang out with them outside their tour bus for about 3 hours back in 2005... it was awesome!
Barcelona - I'm a fan of their version of "Rich Girl", as well as "Colors"
The Beat Strings - "Starlight" - Yes, the video is complete cheese, but I enjoy the song.
Gogol Bordello - These guys are pretty well-known, but I just found out about them. This isn't their official Myspace, but it has the song "Not a Crime"... good, rocking gypsy punk.
And finally, Rilo Kiley - "Does He Love You" is a stellar song. These guys played a great set on Austin City Limits a year or two ago... it'* worth finding if you like them.
