Dad'* friend bought a house (I'm excited! You'll see why.)
So my Dad'* friend has lived in a apartment for 3 years, and he decided it was time to buy a house. He came across a 3 BR, 2 BA 1957 ranch house for only $84,500! He came to find out that it was a old lady'* house that fell ill, then shortly after died. She had no family, and the will stated that her house be sold with all contents included, so the house has been untouched since December I believe, other than all the food being thrown out.
Here is the exciting part. The house IS CHOCK FULL of antiques and tons of old stuff. When he looked at the house, he noticed that there was a LOT of old stuff, some of the stuff he saw included a curio cabinet FILLED with Democratic presidential goodies, including hats, pins, flags, signs, the WORKS. Other things he saw were the closets are packed full of boxes, along with the basement being chock full of boxes, books, and tons of old stuff. He also came across tons of old bar signs. The house still isn't his yet, he just has to sign a few more papers, and the keys will be handed to him. I am personally excited because he has asked me and my Dad to help him sort through everything, and whatever he doesn't keep, we can take.

Oh yeah... definitely... There is just so much good stuff in that house. One of the few things I get extremely excited about is going through stuff, especially old stuff. It is absolutely amazing on what you can find.
