Time to modifiy the shop for the Vette

Well, the Vette needed a place to sleep that wasn't outside. I could fit both in my shop, but it was really tight. There was a small storage room on the side that always bothered me. It ended up being a place to throw junk. So out it goes.

I'm glad who ever built this used screws. A few nails but mostly screws.

Just fits too. Sure looked like I would ave more room in my mind.

I can just get the Vette out with the Bonnie in there.

Just as I was finishing up the neighbor stopped over and said he would have parked his truck some place else if I had called. Oh well, I like the $30 a month.

It looks like a tight fit, but if it works...that's great!

Today I was able to straighten the shop back up. Much happier now. Last night wasn't happy with how things looked. But today, much more room.

The Vette is straight now instead of on a angle.

I moved a work bench over to this wall, and now I can get to it without moving the cars.

Lots of room in between them. I can walk around with the exception of behind the Vette.
Attachment 27912

Now I can get to my other tool box, and get tires from the rack with ease.

LOL good work dan, just make sure the pieces that hang over the vette are well supported, dont want to have to fix the vette due to that part of the garage caving in

id have a garage but the previous owners "burnt to the ground" (was a slammed to the ground until the fire) S10 is still parked there and he hasnt gotten it yet, when i get the camaro im looking at i will pull his truck out and MAKE him come and get it, the bonnie needs an overhaul soon so im gonna get another car so i can pull the motor and rebuild... i want a v8 so im lookin at a 02 Camaro z28 , plus alot of friends have them so spare parts and knowledge would be abundant. :D

pics of the garage in its present form... prime for workin on a car once emptied and fixed up right ... will put this on the outside doors lol bs2

lol my guard dog outside hehe, shes such a big baby :P

It is good to have a covered home for nice rigs like that. Thanks for sharing.
