should i even change the oil?
so, my van DRINKS oil.. 1 qt every other fill up... i keep adding oil
do you think it is necessary to do a full oil change on it? or just put a new filter on it and top it off...
the weird part is that i see no leaks wherever i park, at home or work, and it does not have blue smoke.

Haha, believe me. It'* a Chrysler 2.5, they burn oil, even though you can't see it or smell it, but it does. My mom'* '84 Lebaron had oil disappearing all the time, no leaks anywhere, so it had to be burning it.

My oil used to disappear fairly quickly also (at Mobil1 prices ) So now I put in cheaper, thicker synthetic blend and I lose a fraction of the oil.
I'd still change it. Muck can still build.
