Did a little gardening today
Seeing how my son can't go back to school right now, I had to keep him busy. so I put him to work. I decided I wanted a larger pond.
Here'* the old pond, just started draining it.

Almost empty

Big pile of rock. And I still need more.

You know, digging holes would be a whole lot easier if they weren't filled with dirt.

Got the water fall all stacked and the liner laid out. Just started filling it.

Another view of it filling.

The deep end is filled.

Pumps are running.

All filled up.

Not real happy with that fountain.

Not sure how much water, but I figure about 400 gallons. The package says 500 gallons when 18" deep, I'm over 2 feet on the deep side, but only about 9" on the rest.

Picked up some wood chips, and a new fountain, I think I like this one better. Oh, and move some of the solar lights. As my son said, the light will glisten off the water.

I need to pick up some more larger flag stones and cap off the pond.

Plan to keep the plants in the garden to a minimum, I figure a few low flowers or something.

I'm very pleased with the outcome. Going to pick up a few more fish. 19 fish survived the winter, so they are in the new pond. I want to get a few small Koi and a bunch more gold fish. Also a bunch of water flowers and Lilly pads.
