Is there a really slow Integra model?

I know the GSR and Type R are good but is there a slow Integra as in 0-60 in the 10's?

gm4life 07-18-2005 07:13 PM

Yeah LS! Or GS! My cuz had an LS it wasn't that slow but alot slower than the GS-R he later got and sold!

ComfyCar 07-18-2005 08:00 PM

So an LS with an automatic 40 pound wing, body kit and maybe a hundred pounds of stereo equipment. Slow?

Year?

You likely wouldn't want to mess with a GS-R and up. Tread carefully around a 1994+ 5-speed. Stock SSEi may not want to mess with a Type-R or early 90's GS-R.

Quick Googling nets me:

1986 Acura Integra RS 9.3 17.0
1986 Acura Integra LS 8.8 16.5
1989 Acura Integra LS 9.3 17.1
1990 Acura Integra 3-Dr GS 9.2 16.8
1990 Acura Integra GS 8.9 16.6
1992 Acura Integra GS-R 6.8 15.4
1993 Acura Integra GS-R 6.5 15.2
1994 Acura Integra GS-R 7.1 15.5
1994 Acura Integra LS 7.6 16.0
1996 Acura Integra GS-R 7.1 15.5
1996 Acura Integra SE 7.9 16.1
1997 Acura Integra Type R 6.5 14.7

Probably safe to assume that these are all manual tranny models.

Remember, on a closed course!

Yeah be careful around manual tranny models and mods but yeah 9 or 10 on an early 90's w/auto is possible! :D

keep in mind guys, an integra is just a fancy civic. and the Civic SI is the same as an Integra GSR

The VTEC engines are nuts in a light car like the GSR or Type-R. You'd definitly want an L67 to take one of those.

yes and no, civic SI got the B16a III engine wich is 1.6 dohc Vtec 160hp/111 pound torque

Integra GSR B18c1 1.8 Dohc vtec 170 hp 130 pound of torque

civic lighter but on high speed gsr is faster.

and yes, you will need an L67 car to get those vtec in your rear view.

i know some RS, LS '94 and up (142 hp non vtec 1.8 B18C) get 15.8-15.9 on quarter mile stock.

mine just got an SiR inside (thx to hatchback) and it really kick ass for 1.6 liter.

What happens when you have two L67's? Does that help?
