it was 104 today on my lunch break, friday is going to be hotter. Considering in the winter it gets 20 below zero where I live...quite a change between seasons..

weather guy said the average high tomorrow is 83 or something and it may get 106 or so.

a bit too toasty for me. I'm glad the house I have this summer has AC vs last summer.

say high to the members in Phoenix...115 today.

And I am in Phoenix next week for work. I am so not ready for the heat. My Senior Tech in Phoenix told me it was 117 on the 4th of July.

No thanks. I discovered over 100 degree temps when I was in Mississippi. Not my idea of fun.
Not particularly fond of several feet of snow, but I'll take that over the heat any day.

100* in Mississippi is like 130* out here in the Wild, Wild West. With very low humidity you can sit in the shade and actually get some relief from the heat. In those areas where humidity levels almost equal the temperature, you sit in the sun or shade and sweat.

I wouldn't mind some rain, though.

It'* been pretty hot here the last couple days. Cooling trend coming from West to East though. We're expected to be only 85° today.
