MOS95B 01-11-2005 12:02 PM

Nothing now, but it's cost me 1500 bucks on the VISA in the last 6 months...

Well, I do have a check engine light, but I know it's minor stuff that doesn't stop it from running...

My check engine light comes on all the time. It has done that for about the past year. It only does it when I go over 55 mph.

If I get a refund I will pay off some piddly bills I have.

Calm down. LakevilleSSEi pulled the codes for me. MAP Sensor and EGR came up. I'll get to it....

Jim W 01-11-2005 01:59 PM

Mine is going to pay for new 255/50/17 tires, new computer hardware :x and a trip to NYC.

*poof* tax return gone

vital49 01-11-2005 02:01 PM

Mine's gonna be used to fix up one of our rental properties....

Won't take long for it to be gone!

Sol 01-11-2005 02:03 PM

Hmm.....

Rockers perhaps.....

Or I'll just use it as money for school.

Logan 01-11-2005 02:07 PM

LOL, my return will hardly fill my gas tank up twice  Well, maybe three times. I guess thinking on the bright side, I don't get very much taken out, because most of my money comes from tips. Which I do believe is supposed to be taxed...

sandrock 01-11-2005 03:55 PM

No tax returns for me...full-time student and work under the table. I do get a Pell grant though, 2 grand and change. New Eagle tires, maybe a new MP3 deck, bills....

God I will be glad when school is done...final semester!! Then I can work for a living again.

LakevilleSSEi 01-11-2005 10:45 PM

Ideally, that's the boat to be in. Break even or owe a little.

JimmyFloyd 01-12-2005 09:11 AM

Not sure if I will get anything. I sure hope I do since about 1/3 of my paychecks went to something... If I do get something, it'll either go to school (mom wants this) or to the car to pay for the engine swap (dad's on my side with this one.)

Baileyjack 01-12-2005 09:46 AM

I get an extra $45 a week taken off my paycheque in income tax, just so i know i'll be getting a refund. I do it to buy my big ticket items, like computers, stereos, etc. This year it's a 52inch widescreen tv :D

Baileyjack 01-12-2005 10:06 AM

You may not get interest on the money, but i find it a good way to save money that i can't get at till tax time. :D

dbtk2 01-12-2005 10:13 AM

I have no idea what I'm gonna buy with mine, and i haven't got my W2's yet, so I'm not sure what I'm gonna get back, but being a minor, I should get all of my federal and most of my state back, which should put it around $700 or so. I'll probably just throw it in the bank and save it for my next car.

The wife and I are taking an 8-day cruise at the end of April. If there's anything left (which I doubt) it will be going toward the garage addition.
