Hanging Em Up.....
In the words of The Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
/\ Great song up there, and hopefully a comical yet fitting way to finally say, its time for me, member #479 to surrender the Stars.
For over 2 years, I have been honoured to serve a member, Moderator, Battlefield Adminstrator and then promoted to full blown BonnevilleClub Admin. Membership at BC has been a wonderful experience in my life. I have met some terrific people, put together two or three small yet successful meets with members coming as far away as New Hampshire to the east, Minnesota to the west and Ohio to the south, I've been a part of a magazine article and this Site has helped fuel the passion that I always had for the automobile.
Recently I've come across new responsibilities, particularily career related, I administrate 2 other forums related to Oldsmobile and the Aurora, I co-admin on a part time basis at OntarioBonnevilleClub.com, I am shopping for my first home and I share my life with a wonderful girl that means the world to me. All of these responsibilities pulls me away from over 3000 members that Bill, Don and I as well as the rest of our great Moderating staff take care of everyday. I simply feel that I cannot fill the shoes required of an adminstrator.
That being said, I am officially handing back my stars and saying "Thank You" I can't individually recognize all of you that have meant something to me, but I can try for some Peter for becoming such a great friend and opening his home to me, Sol and the rest of the Computer Guys for their endless assistance in times of difficultly, Twister for sending me that K&N filter for free!, all the BonnevilleClub ladies that I just have to flirt with endlessly (cuz I love you all), the new friends that I have made that live locally, Mike, Tamara, Murdock, Al, Val...the list goes on, the Pfamily (Pdad, Pmom and the Pkids for organizing such great prizes for our members), helping Jason Smith shop for that new Bonneville and having him fly all the way to Toronto to pick up a Bonneville that I didnt buy....she wanted my bagel bro. Seth, Jason, Marty, Todd, Kendra, Amity, Hailey, Rob, Walter, Mike, Renee, Peter and all those that made it up for the Toronto Meets, the convoy to St. Catharines, my birthday dinner...oh and Don talkin to me over the phone when RLD wouldnt start, phone calls from the WCBF members, and calls from Kyle et al at the first annual BonnevilleFest last year.
Wow..I could keep going, but I wont....you know that you all meant something!
Finally, thanks to the Staff, without their tireless work this site couldnt be the kind of place it is today. We all know that and recongize that.
I'm handing back my Stars, but I cant leave, I start a new page as the first Retired Administrator of BonnevilleClub.com

That vid was a great parting shot, Jimbo. I can't honestly say enough without wearing out this keyboard.
You started as member #479, and Don saw something in you that others had seen as well. You became the Moderator that set the standard, and raised the bar. The character you showed led to you becoming the Battlefield Admin of choice, and ultimately gave you what you should have had all along.
You leave us having had ALL the stars and ranks possible, with the exception of the 'Holy' Jeff rank.
You've been a great friend and brother. I'm not going to go on and on like I usually do in emotional situations. I'll just say that you've been the best, and you ARE the best.
I wish you the best in your other ventures. That'* one lucky girl you have there.
Godspeed, and don't forget to visit.
