When I'm actually happy to pay 1.99 for gas.

I'm one of them old farts trhat remembers filling up a pickup and getting change from a 20...

I remember the fits we had when it went over a buck.

And I thought $2.12 was a good price.

You are not an old fart, that is my job. I remember the gas wars of 1968 when Sunoco 260 was .25 a gallon. Took less than $5 to fill up my 66 Vette.

I started driving at about .88 cents a gallon. Ahhhh the days.

I'll join you in the old fart kingdom. I remember the price wars where it could get down to $.10 a gallon...and...they pumped the gas for you! The gas gauge was broken on my '59 Chevy so, I'd estimate how much I had by the number of miles I drove. It was a bit embarrassing when they could only get like 50 cents in.

I'm feeling young again.

I know what Mos is saying, too. I was pretty excited to get premium at $2.24 last week We old farts get our excitement where we can.

Old fart --> happy -->excitement --> rocking chair --> oxygen bottle. :P

You probably have more self control and stop at happy.
