Default GTO / Commodore

Hmmm resemblance...?

Holden Commodores have been around forever... Based in Austrailia for those of you who are wondering.. I wonder where GM got their idea for the GTO?
Of course GM obviously owns Holden, its just crazy that the Aussie'* have had the 'GTOs' around for decades and we are just now reintroducing it.. :?

The Commodore can come with the 'SS' series and has an LT1 or an LS1 engine.. and of course, are uber sexy. Now just imagine the hood on the GTO..

2000 Holden Commodore

2004 GTO and some Camaro.. :?

You forgot the Holden Crewman=4dr version of what the new El Camino should be...RWD, Car/Truck, LS1 engine. I have the Holden brochures for all three (2004), and the 2004 brochures for the new Bonneville and the GTO.

For the Ford fans, how about the 4dr mustang....it is called the Falcon down under. I don't have that brochure, but I have an Aussie magazine on lone from a friend that has a feature story....RWD, 4dr mustang. I bet that if you all wanted to, you could go online and look up some details concerning these beasts.

And lets not forget where the original GTO came from... Michigan!
