If this thing isnt out by April 17th the Dr. is going in after it!

Not to much pain, its just annoying at this point. Anybody got some good ideas to help get this thing out? I rally dont want to have surgury. Especially being this close to the start of race season and IDD.

Any help is greatly appreciated, REALLY!

Hopefully it passes very soon. The good news is it will be gone no matter what before the racing season really begins.

Don't really know a whole lot about stones and stuff, but can't yah just drink like a crapload of water and that will help...or something?

While drinking liquids will help with the urniary track, what could happen is the stone can get stuck while traveling in the Ureter. If that happens and the stone can not move anymore on its own, the doctor will then have to decide how to get the stone out.

I had a stone that was too large to pass on its own so I had a procedure done called Lithrotripsy. Its a machine that has an arm on it with a liquid pouch. They place the pouch on your kidney or where the stone may be and send pulses through the liquid bag to break the stone into smaller pieces so that they can pass.

it is a non evasive procedure. They put me out for this and I did not feel a thing. You only have a little discomfort afterwards because of the shock waves pounding your kidney and you will urinate blood the first few times, but the most painful is actually passing the stone.
